Arvind Singh, a fan of Prime Minister Modi, offered a gold crown to Lord Hanuman at Sankat Mochan Temple to mark Prime Minister's birthday. He offered crown weighing 1.25 kg on Monday, ahead of PM’s birthday. Arvind Singh said he had taken a pledge to offer gold crown to Lord Hanuman if Prime Minister returns to power at Centre for a consecutive second term.

"Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, I took a vow to offer gold crown weighing 1.25 kg to Lord Hanuman if Modiji formed government for second time," he told news ncy ANI.
A priest also said PM Modi is one who is building nation in a way that was t done in last 75 years. So it was decided that crown would be offered to Lord Hanuman a day before PM’s birthday, with faith that his and India’s future would shine like gold. He added that it is a gift for Prime Minister on behalf of Kashi People.
