In a massive controversy ahe of Punjab polls, PM Modi was forced to skip Ferozepur rally on Wednesday as his security was compromised after arriving in state. problem started when PM decided to travel to National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainwala by ro inste of air route due to poor wear. According to Ministry of Home Affairs, a major lapse was observed in PM's security as his convoy was stuck for 15-20 minutes around 30 km from destination due to a ro blocke.
On account of ditional security not being deployed by Punjab government as a part of contingency plan, MHA ded that PM Modi heed back to Bathinda Airport. Furrmore, it sought a detailed report from Congress government in Punjab and demanded strict action. Downplaying 'security breach' charge, he affirmed that re was 'absolutely no threat' to Prime Minister.
