PM Narendra Modi breaks silence on Parliament security breach

Barely a day after the Parliament terrorist attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, finally breaking his silence, called for Opposition unity.

Day after the Parliament terrorist attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called for Opposition unity. "Security breach is a sensitive issue and should not be politicised." Emphasising that he would listen to the Opposition, PM Modi said, “We must stand united,” PM Modi said.

Earlier in the day, Trinamool Congress' Derek O'Brien, was suspended from  Rajya Sabha while 13 Lok Sabha MPs for creating ruckus over the Parliament security breach, demanding clarification from PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Protests inside the Lower House took a turn for the worse when the MPs started approaching towards the well of the Parliament. Soon after, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi moved two separate resolution for suspending the MPs over creating ruckus in the House.
