PM's Bharat Ki Laxmi gets Deepika & PV Sindhu's support: All about it

As a part of its ‘#BharatKiLaxmi’ initiative, MyGov has started a contest inviting women citizens to submit their entries to bring them into the spotlight.

As a part of its ‘#BharatKiLaxmi’ initiative, MyGov - citizenship engment platform of Central government - has started a contest inviting women citizens to submit ir entries to bring into spotlight cases of numerous women who have brought glory to country. According to reports, campaign is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his weekly rio brocast show 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi h stated that "daughters are considered as Laxmi in Indian culture since y are a harbinger of fortune and prosperity."

According to MyGov, "We should recognize several daughters, hour m and feel proud of m." contest helps recognize several women in society. According to MyGov website, participants can share ir entries in form of writing or in form of a photograph or video, using hashtag '#BharatKiLaxmi'. last date for participating in initiative is set to be October 27.
