After complaints pour in about Podar Hospital, Aaditya Thackeray steps in to defuse crisis

Responding to complaints about the Podar Hospital in Worli, Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray stated that action had been taken against the guilty person.

Maharashtra Environment Minister Aitya Thackeray on Monday responded to people's complaints about quarantine facility at Podar Hospital located in Worli constituency of Mumbai, from where he was elected in 2019 Assembly elections. Ackwledging that action h been taken against person responsible for inconvenience caused to patients, he revealed that more videos highlighting issues at hospital h surfaced. According to Thackeray, he h personally spoken to patients who h complained and apologised to m on behalf of guilty person. Moreover, he gave his contact number to m for seeking any assistance in future.

Mumbai BJP spokesperson Suresh Nakhua h pinpointed videos on Twitter alleging that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray was igring plight of patients at Podar Hospital. In video, a female patient is allegedly seen cleaning quarantine ward herself. She claimed that re was neir a presence of doctors r was re any attempt to clean place. Garb is clearly visible in video. Ar video shows a woman literally pleing with authorities to bring about some change in ir pitiable condition. As per last updated figures by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, re are 690 confirmed COVID-19 cases out of which 42 people have recovered while 45 individuals have lost ir lives.
