Actor Siddharth terms Thackeray biopic as ‘propaganda’, adds ‘poetic justice’ that Nawaz is playing Bal Thackeray
The controversy around the highly-anticipated Bal Thackeray biopic 'Thackeray' was ratcheted up significantly on Thursday morning as actor Siddharth railed against the film on Twitter, accusing it of being a lot of things, including discriminatory against South Indians, a propaganda film, of constituting hate speech and more.

‘Thackeray’ has been directed by Abhijit Panse and written and produced by Shiv Sena leer Sanjay Raut and Shrikant Bhasi along with Viacom Motion Pictures. movie will hit screens on January 25, two days after birth anniversary of Bal Thackeray.
