After Akhilesh Yadav's 'don't trust vaccine' nonsense, another SP neta makes wilder claim

SP's Ashutosh Sinha has claimed that people fear that COVID-19 vaccine can make them impotent. He also backed Akhilesh Yadav over his 'BJP vaccine' remark

Hours after Samajwi Party president Akhilesh Yav on Saturday termed anti-Covid vaccine to be rolled out in country a "vaccine of BJP", ar leer of his party bizarrely claimed that people fear that COVID-19 vaccine can make m impotent. Ashutosh Sinha also backed Akhilesh Yav after latter h said that he would t get vaccinated against COVID-19.

'Akhilesh has said this based on facts'

"If hourable Akhilesh Yav has said this, n re will be something serious. We do t believe in machinery of government. He has said this based on facts. If he is t vaccinating himself, n I think COVID-19 vaccine might contain something, which can cause harm. Tomorrow, people will say vaccine was given to kill/decrease population. You can even become impotent, anything can happen," Sinha, SP's Mirzapur MLC said while speaking to news ncy ANI.

"And If Akhilesh Yav is saying this, n I think one should get vaccinated in state," he ded.

ruling BJP accused Akhilesh Yav of "insulting" doctors and scientists of country, meanwhile, Omar Abdullah said vaccines don't belong to any political party, but humanity.

"Akhilesh Yav does t have trust in vaccine and people of Uttar Presh do t have trust in Akhilesh Yav. His raising questions on vaccine is an insult to doctors and scientists of country. He should tender an apology," UP Deputy CM Keshav Pras Maurya told reporters.

Taking to Twitter, former Jammu and Kashmir CM too later said, "I don't kw about anyone else but when my turn comes, I'll happily roll up my sleeve & get a COVID vaccine."

During his press conference, Akhilesh Yav also said his party will come to power in state after 2022 elections and everybody will get vaccine free.

Later in a tweet in Hindi, Yav said, "We have full faith in efficiency of scientists but do t trust unscientific thinking of BJP and medical arrangements of BJP government ministering vaccines which h been lying almost inactive during corona times."

"We will t take political vaccine of BJP. SP government will provide free vaccines," he asserted later too in his tweet.
