Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that the agriculture-related laws are a "death sentence" for farmers whose voice has been crushed both inside and outside Parliament.

Congress leer Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that agriculture-related laws are a "death sentence" for farmers whose voice has been crushed both inside and outside Parliament.

Gandhi tagged a news report along with his tweet that claimed that Opposition members demanding a division of votes were on ir seats when farm bills were passed in Rajya Sabha, while government said y were t.

Gandhi and his Congress party have been demanding that farm bills be withdrawn as y are t beneficial for farmers, who will be enslaved at hands of private players and big businesses.

Congress party is also protesting against farm bills across country.

government has, however, asserted that new laws will free farmers from clutches of middleman and allow m to sell ir produce anywhere y want at a remunerative price.
