On Thursday, Samajwi Party (SP) President, Akhilesh Yav congratulated Uddhav Thackeray on Twitter for being successfully elected as new Chief Minister of Maharashtra. On Thursday, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray took oath as 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra at Shivaji Park in front of thousands of people. Prominent leers such as NCP supremo Shar Pawar, Mhya Presh CM Kamal Nath, DMK chief MK Stalin were present on occasion.  Akhilesh Yav tweeted his best wishes to first Thackeray CM as well as took an indirect jibe at BJP towards end of his tweet.

Ideology Compromise?

With 'secular' scripted on first line, unconventional alliance led by saffron party, released ir Common Minimum Program on Thursday.  According to Common Minimum Program, alliance of Sena-NCP-Congress begins with a preamble stating that coalition is committed to uphold "secular values" enshrined in Constitution. Indicating an explicit shift in Shiv Sena's politics, since its inception. Caving to Sena's stubborn demand for CM post, Uddhav Thackeray was chosen to be leer of Maha Vikas Aghi alliance and staked claim to form next government.  governor has given alliance until December 3 to prove its numbers.
