Speaking in Rajasthan Assembly during trust vote debate on Friday, ex-Deputy CM Sachin Pilot put forth a brave front after a seat close to opposition was allocated to him. Prior to rebellion, Pilot would sit next to Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Tonk MLA is w seated on seat number 127 next to Independent legislator Sanyam Lodha in second row.
Conceding that he was surprised at new seat allocation, he described seat as a "border" between treasury and opposition benches. reafter, Pilot opined that Congress h sent its "most powerful warrior" at border to face onslaught from opposition. Refraining from directly responding to charges levelled against him, ex-PCC chief predicted that re will revelations soon. Reiterating that he and his MLAs h conveyed ir grievances at appropriate forum, Pilot urged a focus on real issues plaguing Rajasthan.

Sachin Pilot remarked, "When I entered Assembly at 11.30 am today, I found my seat here. When I would sit re, I was a part of government and safe. n, I thought why Assembly Speaker and chief whip allocated this seat to me. n, I understood that this is border. most powerful warrior is sent to border. Many things have been said today in discussion that is taking place on motion of confidence. With time, re will be revelations. Whatever I or my colleagues wanted to say have conveyed it to appropriate doctor. After treatment, all of us are in Assembly united. Keeping aside rumours, we have to pay attention to reality."

On Thursday, BJP anunced that it would move a -confidence motion against Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan during Assembly session. Talking to media after BJP Legislative Party meeting, Leer of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria predicted that government was unlikely to last for a long time. Speaking at Congress Legislative Party meeting a few hours later, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot anunced that he would seek a vote of confidence in Assembly. meeting witnessed all 19 disgruntled MLAs including Sachin Pilot in attendance. Earlier in day, Rajasthan's Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal tabled proposal for trust vote.
