Karnataka CLP chief Siddaramaiah has slammed Home Minister Amit Shah for his 'One nation, one language' push stating he was bent in breaking the unity of India

Slamming Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his 'One nation, one langu' push, Karnataka CLP chief Siddaramaiah, on Sunday, has termed Shah a ' wicked insider in a joint family'. He claims that Amit Shah was bent in breaking unity of nation. He goes on to say that 'homewrecker needs to be taught a lesson'. Siddaramaiah, like many political leers, has maintained that India's diversity is key to its unity. Siddaramaiah also ded that each Indian state explains its own culture and practice.

Amit Shah's one nation, one langu push
Earlier on Saturday, on occasion of Hindi Diwas, Shah pitched idea of ‘one nation, one langu’ during a speech in New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan. Through his speech, BJP president proposed 'Hindi as Raj Bhasha', citing it as our freedom fighters' dream. He stated that diversity of langus and dialects is a strength of our nation. But he ded that re is a need for our nation to have one langu so that foreign langus don't find a place.

Hindi Diwas celebrations for a week next year: Amit Shah
Shah said that people should take Hindi movement forward and make it reach masses. He ded that next year, government will take steps to push Hindi to every ok and corner of country. He also anunced that Hindi Diwas would be celebrated for an entire week next year and have different programs to raise awareness about Hindi. Extolling Hindi as being 'more diverse than any or langu in world', he hailed it over English for its vocabulary.

Opposition call 'Hindi imposition'
His comments have faced severe backlash from Opposition leers, particularly from South. Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) Chief Vaiko slammed Shah for imposing Hindi in country. He said, "Hindi can be a part of India, t entire India. If Hindi is thrust, n India will be balkanized.” In a similar vein, AIMIM chief Asuddin Owaisi too slammed Hindi push by Centre saying that idea of India was much bigger than Hindi langu, Hindu religion, and ideology of Hindutva. Or political leers like Kumaraswamy, Mamta Banerjee, Salman Khurshid too have highlighted need for diverse langus to sustain in India, t Hindi alone.
