Whatever statements Rahul Gandhi make are lauded in Pakistan. Pakistan has included his comments in its plea. Congress leaders should be ashamed that these statements are being used against India,” he added.

'Final nail in the coffin of terrorism' - Amit Shah on Kashmir
Adding to his statements, Shah said that the revocation of Article 370 has made way for development in the valley and it will be the 'final nail in the coffin of terrorism'. "It has fully integrated Jammu and Kashmir with India," he said. After the abrogation of Article 370, Gandhi in a statement had spoken about reports of violence and 'people dying' in Kashmir. Pakistan used these comments against India in its petition to the UN. Pakistan has been trying to internationalise the issue of Kashmir since the removal of provisions of Article 370 from the Indian Constitution. Although later the Congress had called Pakistan's move a 'mischievous' attempt to drag Gandhi's name into the matter and Gandhi himself on twitter said that Pakistan is a 'prime supporter of terrorism'.

Shireen Mazari, Pakistan's Human Rights Minister, addressed a seven-page letter to the UN against India. Pakistan used Rahul Gandhi's comment on 'People Dying' as an asset in their letter. Mazari also quoted a statement by the Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Chief Minister; "Some people are now saying that as Kashmir is open, brides will be brought from there. But jokes apart, if (the gender) ratio is improved, then there will right balance in society." In the letter, Mazari sought the attention of the UN special Procedure Mandate Holders asking the members to investigate the 'violation of human rights'.
