Amit Shah to launch Tamil Nadu BJP's 'En Mann, En Makka' yatra from Rameshwaram on July 28
The yatra, which will be launched on July 28 in Rameshwaram is the party's effort to strengthen its presence in the Dravidian state in the run up to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

Home Minister Amit Shah will launch Tamil Nu BJP's "En Mann, En Makka" (my land, my people) yatra on July 28 in Rameshwaram as party looks to strengn its presence in dravidian state in run up to 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
BJP national general secretary C T Ravi, who is in charge of party's affairs for state, said yatra will be organised in five sts and traverse through Tamil Nu before concluding in Chennai in second week of January.

"I believe this yatra could be a game-changer. BJP's popularity has been rising and re is a lot of anti-incumbency anger against DMK government," Ravi told PTI, criticising M K Stalin-led dispensation over issues like corruption and poor law and order situation.
Tamil Nu BJP president K Annamalai will le "pyatra", seeking to revive party's fortunes in a state where its ambition to emerge as a big player has remained unfulfilled amid a rise in its its strength under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in several or states, like West Bengal, Odisha and Telangana, where it was tritionally weak.

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win more seats than DMK-led opposition in Lok Sabha polls, Ravi said.
BJP is in alliance with AIMK and some or parties in state. re is a view in party that Annamalai with his aggression and vocal stand on a host of issues has been able to create a buzz in state despite its inherent organisational weaknesses re.

Tamil Nu has 39 Lok Sabha seats. DMK-led alliance h swept elections in 2019.
