Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy orders demolition of 'Praja Vedika' built by his predecessor Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday has ordered the demolition of 'Praja Vedika' building constructed next to the residence of former CM N Chandrababu Naidu by the previous Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government.

After TDP's defeat in recently concluded assembly elections, Chandrababu Naidu h written to Jagan Mohan Reddy urging him to allocate building to him in capacity of Leer of Opposition.

On Saturday, a ruckus broke out during a council meeting at Andhra's Vijayawa Municipal Corporation after pictures of TDP leers NT Rama Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu were replaced with pictures of Andhra Presh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at council hall.
With YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy winning state and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Presh, portraits of former CM Naidu and NTR were being removed from council hall by corporation officials ahe of council meeting. Responding to this, Vijayawa mayor Koneru Sridhar pulled up officials for changing portraits.

Hitting out at Mayor's reaction, YSRCP councillors std protests at mayor's podium, as per visuals posted by news ncy ANI.
Earlier, Jagan also reviewed and renamed various schemes and policies of previous TDP government.
Chandrababu Naidu's TDP suffered massive loss at hands of Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), which got absolute majority in 175-member Assembly by winning 151 seats. In recently concluded Lok Sabha elections too, YSRCP bagged 22 seats while TDP got just three seats.
