AP CPI secretary demands to clarify Centre's stand on Andhra Pradesh capital issue
CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna said that the central government should clarify its stance on the issue of Andhra Pradesh's capital and stop playing politics.

Andhra Presh Communist Party of India state secretary K Ramakrishna said on Monday that central government should clarify its stance on issue of state's capital and stop playing politics over matter.
He furr attacked government on unabated surge in fuel prices across country. " central government is primarily responsible for rising petrol and diesel prices in country, he said. At same time, Andhra Presh government has also increased taxes on petrol and diesel," Ramakrishnan said.

" neighbouring states are reducing prices, but Jagan Mohan Reddygovernment is not taking any such initiatives. We request state govt to reduce burden on people of state," he ded. He slammed BJP-led Central government and YSRCP for privatising public assets. CPI secretary said, "On one side, state government is opposing privatisation of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP); on or hand, state is selling its 10 per cent stake in Gangavaram Port in Visakhapatnam."
Opposition protests against fuel price hike in AP
Earlier last month, Left parties in Andhra Presh, led by CPM, staged a protest against rise in fuel prices. party members held protest after petrol prices touched state's Rs 100 per litre mark. CPM state Leer P Mhu and senior leer Ch Baburao led protest where hundreds of workers participated. Left party workers, along with auto drivers in Vijaywa, took part in this protest. protesting auto drivers said that y were highly concerned with rising petrol, diesel, and gas prices. protested who held rallies and sloganeered around city demanded a decrease in fuel prices. Protesting against Centre for price hike, protesters raised slogans against Prime Minister and said, "BJP down, Modi down down."
