Pilot said that for India to be a 'progressive, vibrant democracy' all parties and local representatives need to be involved in Jammu and Kashmir. He ded that re was justification for arresting former CMs and treating m akin to separatists.

Congress also followed Pakistan's argument on Tuesday and asked in Parliament how is Kashmir an internal issue and also said that Kashmir is monitored by United Nations. Speaking in lower house of Parliament, hir Ranjan Chowdhury, speaker of Opposition claimed that Centre has broken laws and has proposed to change a state into Union territory in one night. Chowdhury n went on to ask wher Kashmir was an internal issue. "You say Kashmir is an internal matter but United Nations is monitoring re since 1948. So how is it an internal matter? re was Shimla Pact and n re was Lahore declaration, n how is it an internal matter? Jaishankar said to Pompeo that it is a bilateral issue, how is it an internal issue?"
