Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has slammed BJP for trying to stop  mega parent-teacher meeting (PTM) in Delhi government schools and said that education should be a part of politics but one shouldn't try to  politicise education system.

Kejriwal appealed to people to vote for those who provide a good education system and t to those who try to create divisions among people on basis of religion.

Speaking about BJP's criticism over mega PTM and its timing as Delhi is to go to polls in a few weeks, Kejriwal said that mega PTM was t first such meeting and several such meetings have been held before.

mega PTM in Delhi government schools was launched in July 2016 after Kejriwal-led party came to power in Delhi in 2015. AAP government opined that PTA was a concept only in private schools earlier but w such meetings in government schools have significantly enhanced parent-teacher interaction and partnership in children's education.

Stating that PTM is crucial for students' growth, Delhi CM ded that it was just on paper in government schools. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also a part of mega PTM.

As Delhi is set to enter election season, ruling AAP h roped in poll strategist Prashant Kishor to ensure his re-election for next term. Kejriwal's Aam Ami Party which h bagged 67 out of 70 seats of Delhi Assembly in last elections, has w reiterated its confidence and aims to win by a greater margin in upcoming elections as compared to last one. fight for 70 seat assembly is majorly between ruling AAP and opposition BJP which has t held  Delhi Assembly since 1998. AAP leer Raghav Chdha h earlier claimed that Congress is immaterial and finished in Delhi's politics.
