war between BJP and Congress took a new turn today when Twitter handle of Karnataka BJP shared a clip of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi where he is talking about amending Apex court's decision to grant alimony to Muslim woman.  BJP has alleged Rajiv Gandhi of amending Constitution to overturn Supreme Court's decision to grant alimony to a Muslim Woman.

Alleging Congres party furr, BJP also stated that party has only used Muslims to enjoy power, and how it never worked for ir welfare.

BJP and Congress scuffle over Muslims and ir rights 

tweet by BJP Karnataka comes at a time when Congress party has been constantly launching attacks on BJP for keeping Muslim community out of perview of amended Citizenship law. Congress and or opposition parties have been protesting against BJP for discriminating on basis of religion.

amended citizenship bill 2019 will grant Indian citizenship to n-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Banglesh, and Afghanistan. Through this bill, Indian citizenship will be provided to members of Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian communities, who have come from three countries to India till December 31, 2014, to put an end to m being treated as illegal immigrants in country. Bill was passed by Lower House of Parliament earlier this year but lapsed with term of previous Lok Sabha during first term of PM Narendra Modi government in Centre.
