BJP committed to making Mizoram ‘drug-free’
party stated it is committed to initiating a 'Drug Free Mizoram' as a means of reducing drug diction among young people in state.

Anor significant promise in manifesto is that party would work with Assam and Central governments to settle complex interstate border dispute between Mizoram and Assam. ditionally, he declared that y would stop at nothing to defend rights of Mizoram's citizens.

Nda also stated that BJP will establish a special investigation team to probe 'irregularities and corruption' in implementation of Socio-Economic Development Programme, flagship scheme of Mizo National Front government.
November 7 is election day for 40-member Mizoram assembly, and December 3 is vote-counting day.
In last assembly polls in 2018, BJP is contesting for 39 seats while in this year's polls saffron party is vying for 23 seats, while Aam Ami Party (AAP) is making its electoral debut in Mizoram with four candidates.
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and president of ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) recently reportedly declared that his party will not collaborate with BJP in upcoming election for 40-member state legislature.
