BJP's Kirit Somaiya to file money laundering complaint against Maha minister Hasan Mushrif

Kirit Somaiya was earlier detained by the Maharashtra police from reaching the properties of Hasan Mushrif whom he had alleged of money laundering

After levelling a fresh set of allegations, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leer Kirit Somaiya is set to file a complaint with Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Hasan Mushrif family and Appasaheb Nalwe Ghinglaj Taluka S.S.K. Ltd on Tuesday. Earlier, NCP leer h said that he will be filing a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against BJP leer Kirit Somaiya. While last week, Somaiya h alleged that Mushrif is involved in money laundering and Benami property.

Kirit Somaiya Vs Hasan Mushrif- Who alleged what?

While speaking to media, NCP leer Hasan Mushrif on Monday asserted, " allegation which is being me by Kirit Somaiya are part of BJPs big conspiracy and Chandrakant Patil is mastermind of this. I have been very vocal about Centre using central ncies against Maha Vikas Aghi (MVA) and on issue of Parambir Singh. It is reason I am being framed by BJP through Kirit Somaiya to stop me."

Last week, BJP leer h alleged that Mushrif and his family members are involved in money laundering and have stakes in shell companies. 

Briefing on his allegations, Somaiya h asserted, "Hasan Mushrif, his wife Sahera Hasan Mushrif and ir son Navid Mushrif, whole Mushrif family have ir shares in se fraudulent practices in money laundering and Benami property. re are records in various ncies that companies, in which se people were involved are actually shell companies. In his election affidavit, he has mentioned se shell companies. I do t kw how he could do that."

Kirit Somaiya's detention

On September 19, ex-BJP MP was detained at Kar while he was on way to Kolhapur from Mumbai. Somaiya was detained at Kar Railway station as section 144 has been imposed across Maharashtra on September 20-21 to avoid crowding at Ganapati Visarjan amid COVID spre. Sources state that Kolhapur collector h issued prohibitory orders against Somaiya who h anunced that he will visit Kolhapur's Mahalakshmi temple.

Reacting to political development, BJP leers h condemned action by Maharashtra Government and described it as "dictatorial".
