Sambit Patra lashes out at Chidambaram for asking 'why PM Modi didn't name China'

Lashing out at Congress Rajya Sabha MP, P Chidambaram, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has said that it is not necessary to take names in every situation.

Lashing out at Congress Rajya Sabha MP, P Chidambaram, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has said that it is t necessary to take names in every situation. Patra was responding on Chidambaram's remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Lakh, wherein PM me a veiled attack on China calling it expansionist, but did t name country.

Chidambaram h attacked PM asking why h he t named China in his dress to Indian Army personnel in Lakh's Nimu and said that PM has t answered ir questions about where violent clashes took place on June 15-16 between Chinese and Indian troops.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Patra said that velied references are sometimes eugh for people to kw who it is. Attacking former Finance Minister for his alleged involvement in INX Media Case, Patra called him 'friend far and Philosopher of Black money'.

In what was a surprise visit to Indian Army's Nimu base in Lakh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday dressed soldiers and reviewed situation along border. Prime Minister was accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Maj Mukund Naravane.

His visit comes as a major move amid growing border tensions with China. Moreover, in a veiled dig at China, PM Modi stated that era of expansionism is over as he dressed personnel of Army, Air Force and ITBP at one of forward locations in Nimu - located at 11,000 feet, surrounded by Zanskar range in Leh.

Even as Prime Minister did t name China, Beijing reacted and rejected statement, ding that it has 'through peaceful negotiations' resolved boundary disputes with 12 of its 14 neighbouring countries.

In his speech, PM Modi paid tributes to Galwan martyrs and lauded  Indian Armed forces' dedication likening it to firm surrounding mountains in Lakh. He also visited jawans who were injured in Galwan clashes, and were mitted at Army hospital. He saluted ir sacrifice and said that all 130 crore Indians were inspired by ir valour.
