BJYM gives 30 days ultimatum to Delhi CM Kejriwal to provide electricity at refugee camp
BJYM on Saturday warned the Delhi Government of holding demonstrations if the Hindu refugee camp in Adarsh Nagar is not provided with electricity in 30 days.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Saturday, vember 14 warned Delhi government of demonstrations if Hindu refugee camp in arsh Nagar is t provided with electricity connection within next 30 days. BJYM President Tejasvi Surya in his letter to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged that aforesaid refugee camp is engulfed in darkness in absence of electricity on day of Diwali.
"On one hand CM Kejriwal and his Cabinet colleagues are conducting prayers at Akshardham temple and entire Delhi is illuminated on festival of lights, on or hand, Hindu refugee camp in arsh Nagar is engulfed in darkness in absence of electricity," Surya who is also an MP, said.
He furr said if people are condemned to darkness n Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues don't have right to celebrate festival. "Kejriwal takes care of Rohingya Muslim refugees, but igres Hindu families," he alleged.

Delhi CM, Cabinet Ministers Perform 'Diwali pooja'
Meanwhile, on occasion of Diwali, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal performed Diwali pooja at Akshardham temple along with his wife, Deputy CM Manish Sisodiya, and or members of his cabinet. Kejriwal h urged people t to burst crackers due to rising pollution levels and ir impact on COVID-19 situation. He h also appealed to Delhi citizens to join him in 'Diwali Pooja' programme that was telecast live through TV channels and social media platforms.

"Today, my family of two crore Delhi people toger performed Diwali Pujan. Prayed for happiness, health and prosperity of all. May re be well being of all," Kejriwal tweeted after programme.
Ban of firecrackers in Delhi
Furrmore, just ahe of Diwali, state government last week h banned all s of firecrackers till vember 30 in city following a COVID-19 review meeting chaired by chief minister. COVID-19 cases have increased in Delhi due to ongoing festival season and pollution, chief minister h said while anuncing ban. He furr h appealed to people t to burst crackers. air quality in state has reached alarming levels due to various factors, including burning of pdy stubble in neighbouring states.

On Friday, chief minister also expressed concern over growing COVID-19 cases and claimed that pollution was 'biggest' reason behind rising in such infections.
