"Blood and Hindutva" of BJP and Shiv Sena are common and y should come toger again and form a government, senior Maharashtra BJP leer Chandrakant Patil said on Wednesday. A day earlier, veteran Sena leer Mahar Joshi h said his party and BJP which parted ways days after results of Maharashtra assembly poll were anunced, can come toger in near future.

" BJP and Shiv Sena are natural allies for last 30 years. ir blood and Hindutva are common.. parties should come toger and form a government. government (in Maharashtra) should have been formed jointly because popular mandate was in favour of both parties," Patil told reporters.

"I do t have any idea about it but yes re is an optimism. This (demands for a reunion between Sena and BJP) is just an optimism. I do t kw if it (a re-alliance) will work or t," Patil said.
When asked if doors are still open for discussions with Sena, which joined hands with rivals Congress and NCP to form a coalition government last month after snapping ties with BJP, Patil said "doors were open at that time also".
"We did t have any ego that time (after results of assembly elections were anunced on October 24), and that is why we h taken a le but we were t allowed (to proceed)," he said.

When asked about reports that BJP leer and former minister Pankaja Munde is in sulk and could chart a separate course, Patil said body will leave party. Patil said he was confident that senior leer Eknath Khse will t do anything detrimental to party.
"Both Pankaja Munde and Khase are t new in BJP. When Pankaja was young and did t kw anything, she h seen Gopinathji (her late far Gopinath Munde) working with RSS, BJP, and ABVP. After joining politics, Pankaja did t take much time to learn as she h received basic training at her home," Patil said while dismissing reports that Pankaja might quit BJP.

Speculations surrounding Pankaja Munde
Pankaja, a former minister, h lost Assembly polls against her estranged cousin and NCP rival Dhananjay Munde. Recently, she h appealed to her supporters to assemble at Gopinathg--a memorial of her late far in Beed district on December 12. "Pankaja herself will clear air in tomorrow's meeting at Beed," Patil ded.
"In case of Nathabhau (Eknath Khse), he and late Gopinath Munde h expanded BJP's base in Maharashtra. I am confident that he will t do anything that is detrimental to party. He wanted something to say and that has been heard. Necessary action will be taken," Patil said.

Khse h last week said that he submitted "evidence" against certain BJP leers responsible for defeat of his daughter Rohini in polls in Jalgaon district. former minister also said he would look at or options if his "humiliation" in BJP continued. Khse recently met NCP chief Shar Pawar and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
