'BMC's illegal action on Kangana reveals abuse of power; system needs to change': Ishkaran
Ishkaran Bhandari said that the BMC is using its power to carry out illegal actions on Kangana Ranaut’s property while taking no action against the violators

Following demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office by BMC and Bombay High Court’s order to stay process, vocate Ishkaran Bhandari stated that illegal actions of Municipal Corporations such as breaking down properties of people y are against and allowing violations by people y favour is an abuse of power.
Bhandari implied that Shiv Sena-ruled civic body was using its power to carry out illegal actions on Kangana Ranaut’s property while taking action against politicians or or influential persons for violating rules. He stressed that such a system needs to change in Maharashtra.

BMC demolishes part of Kangana's office
On Tuesday, BMC issued a 'stop work tice' to Kangana Ranaut under section 354(A) of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act and told Bollywood actor to produce permission within 24 hours. On next day, BMC officials pasted a new tice at her office stating that structure will be demolished. y n broke lock of premises and partially demolished building before Ranaut's lawyer moved HC, which gave her interim relief from demolition process.

Pulling up Mumbai's civic body BMC for its partial demolition of actress Kangana Ranaut's Pali Hill office, Bombay High Court on Wednesday, said that BMC's action was t bonafide, smacking of 'malafide'.
