Former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has accused the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government of filing 'false cases' against TDP leaders in the Vizag tragedy

Former Andhra Presh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has accused YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government in state of filing 'false cases' against leers of Telegu Desam Party (TDP) and victims of gas leak in Vishakhapatnam which killed 12 people. TDP chief remarked that it was 'inhumane' to falsely implicate a mor whose only offence was her emotional appeal for return of her daughter who lost her life in gas leak.

'Irrational counter-allegations'
In a press conference chaired by Naidu along with party leers, TDP stated that poor people were expecting relief due to ir loss of opportunities and daily earnings, but were inste being burdened by or problems. It also said that state government should have focused on saving people from Coronavirus lockdown rar than hiking current charges manifold. TDP supremo also accused YSRCP leers of resorting to irrational counter-allegations against Opposition as y cant solve people's problems.

TDP leers have demanded closure of LG Polymers factory in Vizag where styrene gas leak took place killing 12 and affecting hundreds. Opposition demanded that land should be developed into a garden park to restore unpolluted environment re.

Naidu writes to PM
Chandrababu Naidu earlier wrote to PM Modi demanding formation of an expert committee to probe gas leak mishap that occurred in Vishakapatnam on Thursday. Thanking PM Modi for Centre's swift response to trdy, Chandrababu Naidu said that alongside constituting a 'scientific experts committee', long-lasting impact of gas on health of individuals undergoing treatment must be studied. former CM also suggested close monitoring of ambient air quality in and around Vishakapatnam in order to have a better understanding of impact.
