Chhattisgarh CM slams Farm laws in Vidhan Sabha, says 'Centre favouring the capitalists'

While speaking at Chattisgarh Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel stated that farm laws passed by Centre are meant for capitalists and t for farmers. Chhattisgarh CM furr accused Union government of 'favouring capitalists'. Baghel expressed his displeasure with new agricultural laws while discussing Chhattisgarh Agricultural Produce Market (Amendment) Bill 2020 during Vidhan Sabha special session.
Bhupesh Baghel: Price must be one
CM Bhupesh Baghel condemned reform and went on to highlight shortcomings of three farm laws passed by Central government while speaking at Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. While speaking about Central government's call for one nation, one market, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said that when re's one nation and one market, price must also be one.

Baghel ded that law would t require any amendment if one nation, one market, one price system is implemented by Centre. While underlining shortcomings of se central government laws, Chhattisgarh CM said that three new farm laws favour capitalists and t farmers due to which farmers are losing whatever confidence y have in system and government. Baghel furr asserted that Centre should ensure that farmers' produce is procured at support price.
Speaking about Chhattisgarh Agricultural Produce Market (Amendment) Bill 2020, CM Baghel said that his government aims to protect interests of farmers as well as business sector of state. While calling people of Chhattisgarh 'incent', Chief Minister said that his government is taking on responsibility to protect farmers and consumers by amending Mandi act.

Questioning Centre with regards to reason behind introduction of farm laws, CM Bhupesh Baghel asked if any farmer organisation or political party me demands for change in law. He also disagreed with idea of opening private markets under new farm laws introduced by Centre and said that it seems like a 'conspiracy' to abolish government mandis.
