Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to understand sentiments of farmers and make a commitment for assured government procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP). According to an official press release on Sunday, Badal said that Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh should also "t play a double game" and instead "should lead from front" to get all grievances of farmers resolved at earliest.
'CM Amarinder is playing a fixed match'
"It was unfortunate that CM is playing a fixed match with Centre," he said. "Captain Amarinder Singh is playing as per script handed over to him by Centre. This is reason why he has approached farmers w, ordered m to do Centre's bidding and vacate all railway property in state. Surely, Chief Minister knew that farmer organisations had lifted 'rail roko' agitation more than two weeks back," Badal said.

"He should have put pressure on Centre to restart train services to Punjab instead of approaching farmers and asking m t to sit even close to railway stations. centre should also t victimize Punjabis for standing with agitating farmers and instead should understand sentiments of people and resolve all ir grievances," he added.
