Slamming Congress for opposing farm bills, Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said opposition party is "injuring" farmers' interests with its "dagger of deceit" in a bid to turn its "barren political land" fertile.

While dressing farmers during "Kisan Chaupal" in Morab's Lodhipur vill, Naqvi said commitment of Modi government to double income of farmers has "qurupled worry of brokers and middlemen".

Congress is trying to protect "fiefdom of feudal middlemen" by opposing agriculture reform bills, Mirity Affairs minister alleged.
