Cong leaders hold secret meet to outline complaints of Siddaramaiah
Senior Congress leaders held a secret meeting over the weekend to discuss measures to take their feud with former CM Siddaramiah to the Congress high command.

With rumblings within Congress growing in Karnataka, several senior leers held a secret meeting at a private hotel in Bengaluru over weekend to discuss measures to take ir feud with former CM Siddaramiah to Congress high command. Republic has learnt that senior leers like KH Muniyappa, BK Haripras, Rajeev Gowda, KC Ramamurthy and ors chalked out list of grievances y h against Siddaramiah and his aides within party, particularly KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao. leers decided to also highlight how several meetings were held ahe of by-polls in state, where senior leers like mselves were t invited to.
y have also prepared a catalog of names of or seniors within party, like G Parameshwara, Priyank Kharge and or former ministers, who are reportedly aggrieved with how state unit of party heed by Gundurao. Attempts will be me, over next few days to also bring ir discontentment on record and same will be presented to high command.

primary complaint of dissidents is that Dinesh Gundurao, under influence and guidance of Siddaramiah, has been taking in a dictatorial manner, sidelining or senior leers. KH Miniyappa and BK Haripras h stormed out of a meeting just last week when ir altercation with Siddaramiah camp peaked. Dinesh Gundurao, reacting allegations of clamour for his ouster, said, "one has so far asked for my resignation, if that is what party and senior leers want, I will step aside and make way for someone else. I don't function on anyone’s behest, as being alleged. I have disagreed openly with Siddaramaiah many times when I don't agree with his point of view."

What happened after meeting
After clandestine meeting, Haripras is said to have left to Delhi to convey ir disagreements to high command and to also urge m to t make Siddaramiah leer of opposition and replace Gundurao as KPCC president. Even as Gundurao too rushed to national capital right after to firefight situation, Republic has reliably learnt that camp opposed to Siddaramiah is accentuating old Congress leers losing confidence in Siddaramiah, who many still view as an outsider who joined party just over a 13 years ago. An internal report tabulating reasons for loss in assembly elections and shoddy performance of party in Lok Sabha election is due to be submitted to AICC on October 2nd and sources indicate that re could be more trouble in report for former CM who is being held responsible for party's dwindling fortunes.
