Congress demands befitting reply to China's provocation, questions Centre on LAC situation
On Tuesday, senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stressed that every Indian had the right to know the reality about the situation at the LAC.

On Tuesday, senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stressed that all Indians had right to kw reality about situation at Line of Actual Control. Reiterating claim that Chinese troops had "occupied" Indian territory, he mentioned that anger of people was increasing by day. While ackwledging that everyone had full faith in Indian Army giving a befitting reply to People's Liberation Army, he lamented that Centre was t releasing adequate details about situation. According to Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, it was duty of Union government to explain on how China intruded into Indian territory.
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury remarked, " anger of all Indians against Chinese troops who have occupied Indian territory is growing by day. Taking into account PLA’s actions, our Army was also stationed re. All Indians have faith that Indian troops will give a befitting reply to ir Chinese Army. Our only concern is government’s plan. government does t give clear details. What is reality on ground? Some government spokespersons say that re is tension along border from Arunachal to Ladakh."

LAC faceoff
LAC faceoff was exacerbated when 20 Indian Army soldiers including a Commanding Officer were martyred in Galwan Valley on June 15 when de-escalation process was underway. This was followed by multiple attempts of provocation by Chinese side at end of August. Meanwhile, Republic TV accessed pictures of China's PLA troops gared near Rezang La in sourn Pangong Tso area at Line of Actual Control on Monday evening.
Pictured with primitive weapons in ir hand, it is perceived that Chinese troops intended to repeat Galwan Valley-type clash. However, People's Liberation Army's successive attempts to unilaterally change status quo have been thwarted by Indian Army. Earlier, Indian Army sources told ANI that armies of both nations are communicating with each or even as faceoff continues near Rezang La.
