Congress Has Always Insulted Dr Ambedkar: Chirag Paswan

Mumbai: Union minister Chirag Paswan on Sunday claimed that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar has always been insulted by Congress.

national president of Lok Janshakti Party said Congress ensured defeat of Ambedkar, chief architect of Indian constitution, in Lok Sabha elections.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working towards implementing Ambedkar’s ideals and this is reason opposition is scared and flaunts Constitution in public,” said MP from Hajipur in Bihar after paying homage at Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai's Dar, where Dalit icon was cremated.

Before 1989, Ambedkar’s picture h not been put in Central Hall of Parliament building, while portraits of “three members of same family” orned walls re, he said ding that it reflects Congress mindset.
