Congress plays politics on SC's intervention in farmers' issue; says Centre 'trivialising'
Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill said that the intervention by the Supreme Court proves that the central government is trivialising the entire issue.

After Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it will form a committee having representatives of both sides to resolve deadlock between farmers and Centre over farm bills, Supreme Court Lawyer and National Spokesperson of Indian National Congress Jaiveer Shergill said that intervention by Supreme Court proves that central government is trivialising entire issue. He furr said that government rar than focussing on solving problem is indulging in "name-calling". se issues need to be resolved at earliest both from National Security & Food Security perspective in interest of Nation, Jaiveer Shergill added.
Oddly, Shergill did t spell out where exactly Supreme Court's intervention was related to his allegations against Centre, neir did he substantiate his 'trivialising' charge. mention was made of multiple rounds of talks that have been held between farmers and Centre eir.

Taking to Twitter, national spokesperson of Indian National Congress said that farmers' protest against centre-passed farm bills is focussed on one demand, which is repealing 3 "black farm laws". Stating that till date, re has t been a single act of violence from farmers' side, Shergill questioned Centre that on what basis is it labelling everyone as enemies. "If government has information on any torious element n y can act, what's preventing m," he questioned, again, t really outlining who has called whom 'enemies'.
SC to form a panel to resolve farmers-Centre deadlock
Supreme Court on Wednesday was of view that government's negotiations with protesting farmers have "t worked apparently" and said it will form a committee having representatives of both sides to resolve deadlock.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who is leading government side in negotiations, said ongoing agitation at Delhi's borders is limited to one state and farmers of Punjab are being "misled" by Opposition. He, however, expressed hope that re will be a solution "soon" to ongoing impasse. Eight farmer unions have been impleaded into petition by Supreme Court.
