Senior Congress leer Mallikarjun Kharge, while speaking to news ncy ANI, dismissed claims of imminent government formation in Maharashtra and said that future course of action will be decided after party chief Sonia Gandhi and NCP supremo Shar Pawar meet each or. meeting between two politicians is scheduled to happen on Monday, vember 17. This comes after NCP chief Shar Pawar in a press conference, on Friday, speaking about Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress, me a statement saying, "This government will be formed, and it will complete five years. We all will ensure this government runs for five years”.

Speaking about  rumours regarding government formation in Maharashtra, Mallikarjun Kharge said that “Congress cant make decision alone. Our alliance partner in Maharashtra, NCP and Shar Pawar need to sit down with our AICC President Sonia Gandhi and y need to make decision toger. things that you have been watching on television are all rumours. All se rumours are baseless, vember 17 is day when our chiefs will sit toger and discuss things. Only after this meeting, we will kw what exact nda and future course of action are”.

Devendra Fnavis confident on forming government in Maharashtra 

According to sources, former CM Devendra Fnavis also told BJP MLAs and cres in a meeting on Friday that y will soon form government in state. This comes at a time when NCP Chief Shar Pawar has stated that a Sena-NCP-Congress government will be formed which will run for 5 years, while dressing reporters in Nagpur. NCP supremo is currently meeting farmers in Chargaon vill, Nagpur, to assess crop dam and will meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi over weekend to finalise  Common Minimum Program.
