In his second dress to nation about ways to combat Coronavirus menace in country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday encourd people to exercise social distancing, citing that it as only way to fight global pandemic.
"Experts around world vise that social distancing is only way to combat COVID-19. re is or way to save oneself from spre of coronavirus. we have to break cycle of infection," PM Modi said.

He ted that many people are under wrong impression that social distancing is only meant for people suffering from disease. PM Narendra Modi told people that method is crucial for every citizen of country, he warned that such irresponsible attitude could jeopardize whole country.

"Social Distancing is crucial for everyone. For every member of family and for Prime Minister too. irresponsible attitude of few can risk lives of your family, friends and will also jeopardize entire nation.
Warning people against laidback attitude towards epidemic, PM Modi said, one cant fathom cost that India may have to pay if irresponsible behaviour of people continues.

PM Modi anunces 21-day pan-India lockdown

"From midnight 12, across country, re will be countrywide lockdown in India. re will be complete restriction of leaving out from residence. All districts, vill will be locked down.
This is curfew is stricter curfew than janta curfew. We have to bear ecomic consequences because of this. But to save every Indian's life at this time is my and government's responsibility," said PM Modi.

Currently, India's positive cases stand at 519, with nine deaths.
