The Delhi Police has rubbished AAP's claim that CM Arvind Kejriwal was put under house arrest after his visit to farmer’s protest site at the Singhu Border

Delhi Police has rubbished Aam Ami Party's claim that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was put under house arrest after his visit to a farmers' protest site at Singhu Border on Monday. Refuting AAP’s allegations, DCP of rth Delhi, Anto Alphonse, issued a statement and shared a picture of entrance of CM's house to prove that his movements have t been restricted.
"This claim of CM Delhi being put on house arrest is incorrect. He exercises his right to free movement within law of land. A picture of house entrance says it all," he said in a tweet.
“Our forces have been deployed at CM’s residence to avoid any clashes between AAP and any or parties. He is t under house arrest. CM Kejriwal h left his residence at 8 pm on Monday and returned around 10 pm. re was problem,” Alphonse ded.

ruling AAP government h earlier accused Delhi Police of putting CM Kejriwal under house arrest ever since he met with protesting farmers at Singhu Border on Monday. In a tweet, party claimed that " one was permitted to leave or enter his residence."
AAP leer Saurabh Bharwaj dressing a news conference alleged, "After CM’s return from Singhu Border, Delhi Police barriced his residence from all sides, putting him in a house-arrest like situation, at behest of Home Ministry," he said.

Delhi Chief Minister visits Singhu border
Kejriwal on Monday visited Singhu border, where thousands of farmers are protesting against Centre's new farm laws, and reviewed arrangements me for m by city government. Kejriwal was accompanied by his Cabinet ministers and some party MLAs during brief visit to protest venue on Delhi-Haryana border.

"I checked arrangements. We received a lot of pressure to allow use of stiums as temporary prisons but we did t give permission and I feel this helped movement. Since n, our party MLAs and ministers have been involved in ensuring that farmers do t face any discomfort," he said.
AAP h anunced that it will hold a peaceful demonstration in national capital on Tuesday in support of 'Bharat Bandh' called by farmer unions protesting on Delhi's borders demanding repeal of Centre's new agri-marketing laws. party has extended its support to 'Bharat Bandh' and Rai appealed to all citizens to extend ir support to it.
