'Desperate for power': TN CM Palaniswami calls out Stalin for spreading 'false propaganda'

The incumbent CM, K Palaniwasmi slammed the DMK President Stalin and said that the latter is trying to malign the image of AIADMK by 'spreading false rumours'

Tamil Nu is set for assembly elections scheduled in April. incumbent CM, K Palaniwasmi on Friday slammed DMK president Stalin and said that latter is trying to malign im of AIMK by 'spreing false rumours'. He allegedly accused Stalin of disseminating 'false propoganda' for political gains, as latter wants to become chief minister in three months.

"Stalin enacts a drama at every instance, as he is desperate to come to power. But one can deceive people," Palaniswami was quoted as saying by PTI.

AIMK co-ordinator was on third day of his poll-campaign in sourn districts of state where he urged women self-help groups at Vasudevanallur and representatives of youth, IT and women wings of party at Sankarankovil, to 'defeat false propoganda' that Stalin is relying on. 

Palaniswami called out people gared in campaign to t believe what Stalin shows m, as poll assurances by latter are false. He said that 'DMK will never come to power' and ded that everyone must work with equal dedication so AIMK emerges victorious in upcoming Assembly polls.

Meanwhile, Palaniswami halted his speech when he was at Kayanallur as an ambulance was passing by. He called out people to make way for ambulance that reached Tenkasi government hospital on time.

Earlier this week, reacting to statements me by Stalin on his aspirations to become CM, Palaniwasmi h said that former dreams of being CM because of political herit that he carries. He h said that 'DMK doesn't cater to needs of people when it is in power, but w Stalin is lying to come to power in state. post of CM is given by people, and masses have to vote."

Referring to Stalin's son Udhaynidhi, Palaniswami reiterated that he is trying to gain political mile from his herit that he gets as grandson of late DMK chief M Karunanidhi and as son of Stalin.
