A delegation of Goa Congress leaders met Goverr Satya Pal Malik here on Thursday and submitted a memorandum, highlighting attempts to "subvert" constitutional rms in Rajasthan and accused BJP of of trying to topple party-led government in that state.

Congress team urged Malik to forward memorandum to President of India.

In memorandum, Congress has said BJP and ruling NDA at Centre are "actively engd" in toppling democratically-elected (n-BJP) governments instead of focusing on COVID-19 pandemic, ecomic revival and tackling China.

It alleged BJP is trying to create a constitutional crisis in Rajasthan with an aim to topple Congress government in state.

"Only after 7th request of Rajasthan cabinet and owing to public outcry, Goverr has summoned Assembly on August 14, 2020, memorandum added.
