In line with his electoral promise, Jaganmohan Reddy gave Cabinet berths to seven legislators from backward classes, five from Scheduled Castes, one each from Scheduled Tribes and Muslims, and four each from Kapu and Reddy communities. Kamma community, which dominated previous Chandrababu Naidu Cabinet, got just one berth. Kshatriya and Vysya communities also got one berth each.

While Andhra Presh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed office on Saturday, June 8, AIMIM chief Asuddin Owaisi praised him for his decision to make 5 deputy Chief Ministers. In a record move by YS Jaganmohan Reddy-led state Cabinet, YSRCP MLA Mohammed Mustafa Shaik, on Friday h confirmed that state will have five Deputy Chief Ministers.
Speaking to ANI on Saturday, AIMIM chief said, "Its very good. Our democracy is a participatory form of democracy. earlier ministration in Andhra Presh was focussed on one caste. w Jagan Mohan Reddy is giving chance to all castes, class, mirities weaker sections. This is a good gesture, a positive mess will go."
In a veiled reference to Prime Minister, he ded, "You cant just say Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Jagan is doing real Sabka Saath. w he has to do a lot of or things."
