'Hindi imposition nothing but an assault on our states': Siddaramaiah rages against the Centre's 3-language formula in National Education Policy 2019 draft

In a series of tweets, Congress leer said that National Education Policy draft imposes Hindi in n-Hindi states and that it goes against sentiments. He also ded that inste of imposing Hindi, government should focus on recognising regional identities & give more to states to express.

Meanwhile, newly elected South Bengaluru BJP MP Tejaswi Surya said that facts of National Education Policy 2019 have been twisted. He ded that current draft of NEP merely says that 3-langu formula can be continued in schools. He ded that NEP doesn't impose, rar encours, learning Hindi as a langu in school. In a series of tweets about NEP, he ded: "It's s that a few people with vested interests have created a 'Hindi Imposition' sentiment despite se facts being in public domain."

As controversy swballed, Centre dismissed apprehensions on issue and said re was move to impose any langu on anyone.
"Only a report has been submitted on new education policy. Government has t taken any decision on it. It has t even considered it and refore misunderstanding that government has decided on new education policy is t true," Information and Brocasting Minister Prakash Javekar told media.

"After we will get public feedback, n only it will come up before government. More importantly, Modi government has always promoted all Indian langus and refore re is case of or intention of imposing any langu on anybody. We want to promote all Indian langus," he said.
draft of New Education Policy prepared by Kasturirangan Committee was released on Friday, which spoke of continuation of three-langu formula in schools.

Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal stated that re is ' intention' to impose any langu on people and that government wants to promote 'all Indian langus'

He said, "re is intention of imposing any langu on anybody, we want to promote all Indian langus. It's a draft prepared by committee, which will be decided by govt after getting public feedback."
