Speaking outside Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial at Dadar on Friday, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut confirmed that his party supremo Uddhav Thackeray had agreed to be Chief Minister of Maharashtra. This follows joint meeting of Sena, NCP and Congress. three parties are likely to meet Goverr on Saturday to formally stake claim for government formation.
Raut said, “Uddhav Thackeray agreed for CM post, and so we are here to seek blessing from Balasaheb”.

'Uddhav Thackeray should lead government'
Earlier, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar in a massive statement revealed that re was unanimity on Uddhav Thackeray being Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He added that discussions between parties would continue tomorrow. Furrmore, he exuded confidence that tie-up would be formally anunced on Saturday.
Pawar said, “re is unanimity on fact that Uddhav Thackeray should lead government. All of us agree that discussions should continue. discussion will be reflected in a written format. I think that tomorrow, entire programme and details of tie-up will be anunced in a press conference.”

Sena chief addresses media
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray also interacted with media on this occasion. Mentioning that top leaders of all three parties had met for first time, he opined that a resolution had been reached on many issues. reafter, he stated that y would address media on all comprehensive issues.
Speaking to media, Thackeray: “I will say again that today, top leaders of all three parties sat toger for first time. We have resolved many issues. We will come before you with answers on all issues.”

Power vacuum in Maharashtra

Hectic parlays have been going on in NCP, Shiv Sena, and Congress camps to forge a post-poll alliance in State. On Wednesday, Congress President reportedly gave green signal for formation of an alliance with Shiv Sena.
