Hours after his swearing-in ceremony, PM Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov. PM Narendra Modi and the PMO tweeted about the bilateral engagement of PM Narendra Modi with President of Kyrgyzstan.

The talks included the entire spectrum of bilateral ties in order to deepen economic and social cooperation.The meeting was believed to be held at 10:15 pm.

President Sooronbay Jeenbekov had attended the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister and his council of Ministers earlier on Thursday.

On Friday, PM Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with the President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid, President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli and Prime Minister of Bhutan Lotay Tshering.

Earlier on Thursday, PM Modi's oath-taking ceremony took place with the attendance of over 8,000 guests which included political leaders to sportspersons and film stars., Leaders of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) comprises Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan, had been invited for the swearing-in ceremony.
