Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday questioned Congress party's leership on wher it supported restoration of Article 370 and Article 35A. Weighing in on Congress' alleged seat justments with People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, he accused party of "grually inclining towards separatist process". He accused Congress of "playing politics which is dangerous for unity and integrity" of India. To buttress his point, Sarma alleged that NC president Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti h always opted a hardline stance on Jammu and Kashmir.
Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma remarked, "y (Gupkar alliance) have said that y will work for restoration of Article 370 and 35A of Constitution of India. Basically, it was BJP government that took bold stance to revoke Article 370 from Constitution of India as well as it has also repealed Section 35A which deprived women of property rights and so forth. w if you continuously see statement of Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti right from 1974 when Farooq Abdullah visited Pakistan and met Amanatullah Khan and or separatist leers, y have continuously taken a hardline stance on Kashmir."

He ded, "Is Congress in favour of bringing back Article 370? Is Congress supporting restoration of Article 35A? So se are questions Congress party has to answer to people of India. w, Congress role is dubious. One day, P Chidambaram will welcome it. or day, Randeep Surjewala will say something else. state party president is w saying that we have an alliance with Gupkar gang at district level."

'Congress is supporting communal nda'
On this occasion, BJP leer also panned Congress' purported "communal nda" in Assam. For instance, he pointed out that state Presh Congress Committee h supported Bruddin Ajmal-led AIUDF and or party leers whose tone is clearly communal in nature. Claiming that Congress h gone far away from days of freedom movement, he alleged that it has "forgotten principle of nationalism and secularism". Moreover, he blamed Sonia Gandhi-led party for seeking to disturb peaceful atmosphere of Assam and J&K.

In Assam, Congress is supporting communal nda from Bruddin Ajmal wher it is question of Miya flag, Miya culture, Pakistan Zindab slogan. You will see that Presh Congress Committee is openly endorsing action of AIUDF and or Congress leers whose tone and ter is openly communal. Equally, in case of Jammu and Kashmir, y have said that y are going to have an alliance with Gupkar gang."
