U.P CM Yogi Adityanath begins his address in West Bengal's Purulia rally.

'Bengal is the land of Ram Krishna Parmhans and Vivekanand was his disciple who had urged us to say proudly that we are Hindus. This is the same land of Bengal which has gave us Rabindra Nath Tagore who wrote the national anthem. West Bengal should be the land of BJP because it is the land of Syama Prasad Mukherjee: U.P CM Yogi Adityanath addresses rally.

"Mamata is anarchist and ruling the state in an undemocratic and unconstitutional way."

"TMC's goons are consuming poor's money here in state."

The CM here is trying to the people involved in the Sharada chit fund scam. She is trying to save the corrupt officials. Even the top court said today that Mamata is trying to shield the corrupt officials. What more can be more shameful than this that the CM is trying to protect the corrupt."

"Nothing can be more embarrassing than seeing a CM sitting on a dharna. We will make the land of Bengal, the land of BJP. After SC judgement, Mamata took a U-turn saying she was ready to cooperate. "

"Mamata is hiding many thing. She approves Muharram's procession but bans Durga Puja. If BJP comes to power here then it will make sure that the goons of TMC are hanged to death. In Uttar Pradesh, goons are begging us to spare them, they beg for their lives. This anarchist government has no right to remain in power in West Bengal."

"BJP has worked for each and every section of society. Today American President Donald Trump has also praised Narendra Modi government, he had said that he will work in the way Modi was working in India. Farmers will be benefited and will get incentives of all schemes, if BJP is voted to power in the state."

"TMC tried to hinder the programme of our party president Amit Shah, but you supported us."

"My chopper was also not given permission to land in West Bengal, but I decided to come again and I am here."

A couple of days after his chopper was denied permission to land in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has dared the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government to stop him from holding a rally in Purulia.

As per schedule, the U.P CM is set to travel by a helicopter to Bokaro in Jharkhand, from where he will be commuting through a car to Purulia in West Bengal. At the same time, the TMC is holding a rally in Bokaro due to which the BJP may have to find a different route to reach Purulia.

Meanwhile, West Bengal state officials denied him permission to hold the rally stating that the BJP did not present proper documents. DSP of  Purulia Gopal Goswami said that they do not have instructions for the rally and no permission has been given to hold it.

The current route planned by BJP for CM Adityanath is here:

Countering the TMC's allegations, BJP has stated that all necessary documents have been presented. It has said that the preparations for the venue are done but there are no arrangements for security owing leading to threats to the safety of the UP CM.

On Sunday, soon after Adityanath was stopped from entering West Bengal, he spoke to Rrepublic Bharat daring Mamata to stop him from travelling to the state on Tuesday.

He said, "I have to go to West Bengal again on February 5, it is my right, and for the people of the state, it is our right to raise our voice.  It is our responsibility to protest democratically against an undemocratic West Bengal government."

The Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government has been opposing BJP from holding its rallies in the state. The BJP had planned 42-day rally which never saw the light of the day as the state and the high court did not permit the rally.

After the Supreme Court gave the nod to the BJP to hold public rallies and gatherings, the state denied permission to Amit Shah's helicopter from landing in Malda Airport saying it is not suitable for safe landing of helicopters.

West Bengal's Purulia police officers have confirmed that permission was not given to U.P CM Yogi Adityanath to hold a rally in the district.

Akash Magharia, SP Purulia said, "We have not given permission as of now. No permission for the rally given after seeing some ground level facts and figure. It is up to Yogi Adityanath on what he does next."

While addressing the gathering at her dharna, the TMC chief targeted the BJP leader, asking him to 'take care of his state Uttar Pradesh first'.

Mamata Banerjee said, " Ask Yogi Adityanath to take care of U.P first. So many people have been killed, even police were murdered, he himself will lose, if will contest elections. He doesn't have a place to stand in UP that’s why he's roaming around in Bengal." - as quoted by ANI.

He also stated that ever since the PM Modi-led BJP government has come into power, 'there has been no riot, no mob lynching and no political violence in Uttar Pradesh'.

"It is a matter of pain that our Bengal is now in the grip of chaos because of Mamata Banerjee and her government. It is time to begin a strong Democratic movement to protect the constitution and free Bengal of this government," reads one of his quotes.
