PM's visit to Kolkata
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit West Bengal capital on Saturday and Sunday to participate in sesquicentenary celebrations of Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) and dedication of herit buildings to nation.
PM Modi will be handing over a cheque of Rs 501 crore towards final installment to meet deficit of pension fund of retired and existing employees of Kolkata Port Trust, a statement from Prime Minister's Office said.

In ar event, PM Modi will inaugurate Kaushal Vikas Kendra and Pritilata Chhatri Avas for 200 tribal girl students of Sunderbans. It is a project undertaken by KoPT with Purvanchal Kalyan Ashram, Gosaba, Sunderbans affiliated to Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, statement said.
