Days after Congress leer Jairam Ramesh me remarks hailing PM Modi, senior Congress leer M Veerappa Moily has on Wednesday alleged that Ramesh was responsible for "policy paralysis" during UPA-2 government. Hitting out over praise for PM Modi, Veerappa Moily also slammed Congress MP Shashi Tharoor for his statement. Tharoor h said that praising Prime Minister for doing right things would lend credibility to opposition's criticism of him. Veerappa Moily termed statement me by Thiruvananthapuram MP "most unfortunate" and called for appropriate disciplinary action against Jairam Ramesh and Shashi Tharoor by Congress leership.

Speaking to news ncy PTI, Veerappa Moily countered remarks me by Jairam Ramesh, saying "as if Congress is demonising (Modi)". Moily claimed that Jairam Ramesh's remark was in "very b taste," and charged him with "compromising himself" with BJP with such a statement.
"And any leer who would like to give such a statement, I think, y are t doing service to Congress party or its leership. Because y enjoy power as Ministers, once y come in opposition, y would keep a bridge with ruling party. He (Ramesh) is responsible for policy paralysis of our Government (UPA-2) and he is also responsible for compromising principles of governance many a time," Veerappa Moily said in an interview to PTI.

Moily calls for action on Congress leers
In a sharp attack at Tharoor, Moily claimed that Congress Lok Sabha MP was never considered as a mature politician. Moily furr called for Congress leership to take disciplinary action against two leers.
"I don't think his statement could be taken that seriously. He has to become a serious politician. That's our plea. I think time is w for Congress party to take appropriate disciplinary action and also warn se people... (those) who want to go out (of Congress party), let m go out very straightforwardly; t sabotaging party and its ideology being within party. We should t delay (taking those steps) just because re are elections (coming up) in two-three States. Every time re will be excuse of elections", former Karnataka Chief Minister ded.

Congress hails PM Modi
Earlier, Jairam Ramesh's remarks lauding PM Modi's developmental work got backing of an ever-expanding array of netas from party. Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor joined league in praising Prime Minister. Tharoor said that he argued for six years that PM Modi should be praised whenever he says or does right thing, ding that it would d credibility to criticism whenever Prime Minister would err. Shashi Tharoor went on to welcome or Opposition and Congress leers to share ir views on a matter for which he was "excoriated" at time. Speaking at an event, Jairam Ramesh h warned Opposition leers. He h said that PM Modi's governance model is t a "complete negative story". Jairam Ramesh h ded that t recognising Modi's work and demonising him all time is t going to help.
