Javadekar lauds JNU police probe, Gehlot slams it saying 'orders came from above'
After the revelations of Delhi police which proved links of Left in the JNU violence, Congress' Ashok Gehlot and BJP's Prakash Javadekar expressed their views

After shocking revelations that came during Delhi police briefing which proved links of Left in JNU campus violence, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar lauded police investigation saying that Delhi Police had 'unmasked' involvement of left-leaning students in JNU violence. He also urged students to 'care for wishes of ir parents' who had sent m to University 'for a good education' and urged m to start attending classes.

Role of outsiders unlikely: Delhi Police
Four days after Delhi police's Crime Branch started an investigation, Delhi Police Crime Branch SIT head DCP Joy Thirke, on Friday, briefed media on ongoing investigation. Revealing that JNUSU comprising of SFI, AISA, AISF, and DSF were responsible for all attacks on January 3, 4 and 5 incident, he stated 9 students have been identified from viral videos and photos - mainly belonging to four organizations. Moreover, ruling role of outsiders, as highly unlikely, he stated that campus was sprawling and that masked mob mainly comprised of Left students.

'Orders from above'
Post this, Congress slammed Delhi police's investigation which identified 7 JNUSU students as masked attackers, demanding that Delhi Commissioner should 'resign' over ir 'partial probe.' JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh has also been named by police for being responsible for orchestrating attack. Following his party' stand, Rajasthan CM and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot stated, that all of this was happening because of orders from 'above.'

"If masked people go inside university and attack everyone and still police don't initiate action, I have t heard anything of that sort. It's only possible if police have orders from someone above m. You are t taking action. new generation is getting upset," said Ashok Gehlot.
