'Our Alliance is Unbreakable': JDU Snubs Akhilesh for Asking Nitish to Pull Out of BJP-Led NDA

Patna: After Samajwi Party President Akhilesh Yav called for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar 's exit from BJP -led NDA government at Centre, JD(U) rebuffed his remarks, calling it "bizarre."
Reacting sharply, JD(U) national spokesman Rajiv Ranjan Pras hit out at Akhilesh Yav for doing politics in name of Jayaprakash Narayan and not caring for principles of socialist stalwart and anti-Emergency movement icon.

JD(U) national spokesman Rajiv Ranjan Pras said, "It is a bizarre remark from Akhilesh Yav who does politics in name of JP (Jayaprakash Narayan), but never cares for principles of late leer who fought against dynasty rule all his life".
This comes after Akhilesh Yav suggested Nitish Kumar to withdraw his party's support from BJP -led NDA government at Centre Amid a political tussle between Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) and SP over garlanding statue of Jayaprakash Narayan at Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar on his 122nd birth anniversary on Friday, October 11.

Akhilesh Yav suggested Nitish Kumar to pull back from NDA govt "which is not allowing Socialist to pay tribute to Jai Prakash Narayan on his birth anniversary..." dressing a garing, SP supremo said Nitish should make suggested move since JDU leer himself emerged from his (Jai Prakash Narayan) movement.
"Many of Socialist people are in govt and helping govt to continue. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar emerged from his (Jai Prakash Narayan) movement, this is a chance for Nitish Kumar to withdraw support from govt which is not allowing Socialist to pay tribute to Jai Prakash Narayan on his birth anniversary...," said Akhilesh Yav .

Notably, Yav h alleged that barrices were put up outside his residence to "prevent" him from visiting an international convention centre named after JP, where he h famously reached a year ago by jumping over closed gates.
JD(U) spokesperson said that Samajwi Party was "in clutches of one family" and hence Yav "must not have temerity to invoke legacy of JP".

Pras also criticised Congress leer Pawan Khera for endorsing Yav's statement and pointed out "it is Congress which h caused untold miseries to JP and his followers".
JD(U) leer, whose party's support is vital for BJP 's continuance in power at Centre, after loss of majority in Lok Sabha, also asserted, "Our alliance is unbreakable and we are firmly toger".
