Kapil Mishra calls Delhi Bharat Bandh 'flop'; Amit Malviya calls Farm acts 'gamechangers'
BJP's Kapil Mishra claimed that vendors from the fruits and vegetable markets in Delhi have called him and expressed that they want the markets to operate.

Delhi Police on Tuesday beefed up security at all border points and me arrangements to maintain law and order across city, including market places, in view of 'Bharat Bandh' called by farmer unions against Centre's new agri laws. Meanwhile, BJP leer Kapil Mishra claimed that vendors from fruits and vegetable markets in national capital have called him and expressed that y want markets to operate.
He alleged that CM Kejriwal-appointed Mandi chairman is giving instructions for shutdown. Tagging Delhi Police and Lieutenant Goverr of Delhi, he requested m to stop markets from being forcibly closed. In ar tweet, a few hours later, Kapil Mishra said that markets have opened in Okhla and Azpur and business is going on. He claimed that every market and industrial area of Delhi will remain open and declared Bandh in national capital as "flop."

'Flop Bandh in Delhi'
Azpur mandi, one of largest wholesale markets for fruits and vegetables in country, along with all ors in national capital will remain shut on Tuesday in support of Bharat bandh, called by farmers, its chairman il Ahmed Khan h said. However, this has turned out to t completely be case.
'Who wants to limit farmers' choice?'
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on Tuesday called contentious farm laws "game changers" and claimed that y will transform agriculture sector. " acts will raise farmers’ income besides reduce transportation charges and increase transparency. Acts would make farmers independent of government-controlled markets and fetch m a better price for ir produce," he said in a tweet. "Who wants to limit farmers’ choice?" he asked.

Farmer unions on December 4 decided to intensify ir agitation, stating that y were t satisfied with amendments to agricultural legislation being proposed by government. " bandh will be observed throughout Tuesday. We will also observe a chakka jam (ro blocke) till 3 pm," said Darshan Pal, Punjab unit president of Krantikari Kisan Union, h said on Monday.

Farmers are protesting against Farmers' Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
