Karnataka: Kumaraswamy blames Congress, says 'worked like slave' in the coalition government
Days after he was ousted from the chief ministerial post, JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Monday said that he worked like a "slave" for its coalition partner Congress during the tenure of his government in the state.

Later, BJP leer BS Yediyurappa was sworn-in as 25th chief minister of Karnataka on July 26, following collapse of Congress-JD(S) government.
"I h given full freedom to all MLAs, and even corporation chairmen, why y are blaming me I don't kw. For last 14 months, I worked like a slave for se MLAs and our coalition partner (Congress). Why y are blaming me? I don't kw," Kumaraswamy told ANI. JD(S) leer said that several Congress leers didn't want to form coalition government. "After fractured verdict in our state, Congress leership wholeheartedly wanted to join hands with JD(S) and y wanted to form government. But, some local leers were t interested according to my sources," Kumaraswamy said.
former chief minister also said that his government h allocated more money for constituencies of Congress MLAs than that of JD(S). "From day one, way a section of Congress leers behaved and reacted in public, everybody kws it. Even when MLAs used to come without taking an appointment, I met m. Whatever requests y h for development of ir constituencies, I took decisions on m immediately. What previous Congress government couldn't achieve, I did in 14 months. I have allocated more than Rs 19,000 crore in 14 months to constituencies of Congress MLAs."

Speaking on JD(S)-Congress coalition, Kumaraswamy said that his party leers were unhappy after he joined hands with Congress to form government. "Even some of my party leers were t happy, but I formed government with help of Congress. y were t happy with system. y knew how will y going to backstab us," he said.
former chief minister said that he has pain in his heart since body ackwledged his work. "I'm happiest person w after vacating office as a Chief Minister. For 14 months, I worked for development of state, re is a little pain in my heart because body appreciated my work," he said. JD(S) leer said that his party leers are t interested in a coalition with Congress in future. "Majority of workers are t interested in coalition. But Congress high command even w is very much cooperative with us. Let us see what is going to happen in future," he said.
