KCR said, "I, on my own, invited Andhra Presh state elders in government, offered m lunch and discussed matter. I have extended a friendly hand to Andhra Presh government saying that both states should construct projects based on needs of people. We have also told m that water being wasted into sea should be diverted to farmers and towards that goal, action plan should be implemented. Yet, Andhra Presh government h unnecessarily poked us and picking up a fight."

" Andhra Presh government lodged baseless allegations and complaints without any truth. Let us give a befitting answer in Apex Council to effectively counter Andhra Presh government's meaningless charges and shut its mouth once and for all. We will create a situation wherein Andhra Presh government will never make such allegations in future. Central government has also faulted in its attitude on Telangana projects. We are constructing projects based on our share of river waters. It is t at all correct to raise objections on projects whose allocation of water was agreed upon before formation of Telangana State, permissions are given and huge funds were spent," he ded.
